New Ziflow features and system updates are now available! Over the past month, we’ve rolled out new capabilities such as the ability to add multiple workflow templates to a proof and increased accuracy in the measurement tool. Check out all the new releases we’ve added to the Ziflow platform below.
New Feature Highlights
Adding Multiple Workflow Templates on a Proof
Often, a first workflow might not be enough to cover the complete review and approval of a proof. With many proof types and projects, we find that reviewers need to send a proof through a second, different workflow after the initial review workflow has ended.
Until now, reviewers could only select one initial workflow from a template for a proof. We’ve now made it possible to add multiple workflow templates to a proof and extend the first review workflow by selecting a second workflow from another template. This also applies to proofs created with Connections in which a first workflow template is automatically applied. These proofs can also be extended with an additional workflow template.
Increased Measurement Tool Accuracy
Many content pieces require a detailed measurement smaller than full millimeters for accurate review. To increase precision, we’ve updated the capabilities of the Viewer measurement tool to allow reviewers to measure up to two digits after the decimal.
- The smallest possible measurement in the tool is one pixel. For millimeters and inches, the measurement will depend on the asset dpi.
- Above one pixel, the tool will measure up to two digits after the decimal. (Example: 5.43mm)
Email Notifications to Reviewers with @mentions
We’ve also updated @mentions to automatically send an email notification to a reviewer any time they are tagged in a comment on a proof, regardless of that proof’s stage status.
Even if someone has an @mention when the stage has not started yet or the stage was already completed and locked, they will still receive an email notification about the mention.
System Updates
We’ve also enhanced these existing features to further improve your proofing environment.
- Dropbox connection reauthentication: When Dropbox invalidates a connection, flows no longer trigger. With today's update, the application will show invalidated connections and allow you to reauthorize them.
- Billing CC: You are now able to copy your finance team by adding their email addresses to the new field in the billing section.
These new capabilities are live in the product now. Current customers, and those on 14-day trials can start taking advantage of them right away.
