New Ziflow features and system updates are now available! Over the past month, we’ve rolled out new capabilities such as a new filter for finding and restoring deleted proofs, the ability to change reviewers’ notifications settings from the proof details page, and more. Check out all the new releases we’ve added to the Ziflow platform below.

New Feature Highlights

Standard Filter for Finding Deleted Proofs

It’s happened to even the most organized teams: proofs are accidentally deleted by mistake or previously deleted proofs need to be restored. In order to save users time when relocating deleted proofs, we’ve created a new Standard Filter for “Trashed Proofs” that provides users with a self-service method for immediately finding and restoring deleted proofs in their account.

Note: This filter will apply to proofs in which all versions were deleted together. For restoring individual proof versions, please reach out to Ziflow Support.

Change Reviewer Notification Settings from Proof Details Page

Looking for an easier way to change a reviewers’ proof notification settings? Instead of requiring proof owners to open each stage to change how and when each reviewer is notified of proof updates and decisions, we’ve simplified this process. Proof owners can now simply click and change reviewers’ notification options right on a proof’s full details page.

Additional New Features

Manager Roles: View All Proof Versions

Users with the Manager role on an account are often only added to a later version of a proof. This can limit their ability to compare previous versions and gain critical context around a project.

Now, Managers who access a proof via a personal URL will be able to see all versions of a proofeven if a certain version was not explicitly shared with them or they aren’t signed in to Ziflow.

Note: This setting only applies to users who belong to the Ziflow account containing the proof and are listed as Administrators or User/Managers with “View all” permissions in the account.

Reviewing Password Protected Live Websites

Previously, Ziflow used an automatic proxy function when loading live websites in the proof viewer. In some cases it made it difficult to review live websites that required a username and password. Today, we’ve introduced a new setting to bypass our proxy servers and attempt to load the site directly in the proof viewer.

You can disable the use of our proxy by going to the “Proof Viewer” settings and disabling “Live websites: Force proxy for all sites” and disabling “Live websites: URL rewriting”. Furthermore, to ensure your website can be loaded directly in the proof viewer it should have the following:

  • Be secure (HTTPS)
  • Allow embedding within other sites

System Updates

We’ve also added these modifications to existing features to help enhance your proofing environment!

  • Branding Updates: Administrators now have the option to hide the sign-up button on the log-in page (Business & Enterprise editions.)
  • Additional Session Authentication Options: We’ve added even more menu options to the new custom session timeout settings released last month. Administrators can now select 2-, 3-, or 4-hour web session lengths for users.

These new capabilities are live in the product now.  Current customers, and those on 14-day trials can start taking advantage of them right away.
